Frequently Questions Asked

  1. Q. Is your salon a commission salon or booth rental?
A: Each stylist is independent and runs their own business but halo works as a collaborative team always.
  2. Q. How do I book an appointment?
A: The best way to book your appointment is giving our salon a call at 360-353-5961.
  3. Q. Can I get an extension appointment on the same day?
A: Unfortunately no. Extension appointments require a consultation before for a color match. Hair will be purchased and a deposit is due before scheduling your install appointment.
  4. Q. How do I choose the right stylist for me?
A: Our salon is full of VERY talented stylists. You can check out our team here. Click on each photo for a direct link to their instagram for portfolio photos.
  5. Q. What is the salon’s cancelation policy?
A: Out of courtesy for your stylist, we kindly ask that you give a 48 hour notice for any cancellations or reschedules. In the case that more than 48 hours' notice is not given for a cancellation or reschedule, you will be responsible for paying 50% of the scheduled service to your stylist. Same day, last minute cancellations, and no shows, will be responsible for 100% of the service price. Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled and a cancellation fee will apply. Thank you for understanding our policy. It is in place to respect the time of the stylist as well as other clients waiting for appointments.

  6. Q. How do I care for hair extensions?
A: Extensions are an investment and in order to protect and extend the life of your hair, we recommend the following tips: Wash with Sulfate FREE shampoo and conditioner. Oil the mid to ends of the hair at least once a day. Blow dry the wefts 110% (avoid air drying drying upside down). Sleep in a low braid or ponytail. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase. Brush from the ends of your hair moving upward. Brush a few times a day to prevent tangling. When swimming, coat your hair in a leave-in conditioner and wear it in a braid. Hard water can strip extension hair of color and nutrients. If possible use soft water. Be aware, salt water and chlorine can strip hair of color. Avoid sunscreen touching your extensions. Avoid Brazilian Blowouts on extensions. Avoid Bleaching extensions. Avoid Perms on extensions. Tape ins: Do not apply conditioner directly to the tape area.
